Setup guide
Set up RocketZero in a few minutes
Two parts, one setup: install RocketZero on your NAS, then the app on your computer — and your NAS opens as a drive from anywhere. Pick your NAS below; each guide has real screenshots and a short walkthrough video.
1 · Install on your NAS
Install the .spk in Package Center, then open RocketZero from the Main Menu.
Read the Synology guideAdd the source once, then install the plugin from System → Plugins.
Read the OpenMediaVault guide
Install as a Custom App via YAML and set your address.
Read the TrueNAS guide2 · Install the app on your computer
Whichever NAS you have, the second half is the same. Grab the Windows or macOS app from roze.to/download, enter your RocketZero address, and sign in with your NAS account. Your shared folders appear as drives in File Explorer or Finder — open, edit and save files exactly like a local disk, from anywhere. Each guide above walks through this with screenshots.
